Before any coating we inspect the paint, perform decontamination (wash, iron fallout removal, clay bar), and complete the necessary paint correction and polishing to remove swirl marks and light scratches. Proper surface preparation is critical — a coated surface will lock in whatever condition it’s applied to, so we won’t rush through prep. Coatings are cured under controlled conditions and come with detailed aftercare instructions so you keep the finish performing long-term.
We operate from our shop at 4519 W Lake St and offer mobile application for many Chicago locations. We regularly work on cars from Austin, Humboldt Park, West Town, Logan Square and the Near West Side, and often service clients who park near landmarks like the United Center and the University of Illinois at Chicago. How It Works
Step 1 — Inspection & Quote
We evaluate paint condition at our shop or on location, then recommend either a basic protection package or a multi-step paint correction followed by ceramic coating. You receive a written estimate that outlines scope and timing.
Step 2 — Prep & Paint Correction
Technicians complete a full decontamination (hand wash, iron removal, clay), then perform compound and polish steps as needed to remove swirls and defects. All work is documented with before/after photos so you can see the improvement before coating.
Step 3 — Application & Curing
The ceramic coating is applied in controlled sections, leveled, and allowed to cure. Final inspection and a wash/inspection checklist are completed before vehicle handover. We provide aftercare instructions and recommend touch-up inspections to maximize longevity.
